Originally from Argentina, my husband and I moved to Miami to build our life and grow our family. By chance, we discovered the Village of Biscayne Park, and realized it was everything we had been searching for. Enchanted by its charm and sense of community, we made it our home, purchasing our first house here in 2011.
Over the course of my career, I dedicated more than 15 years to marketing, media, and strategic communications, ultimately serving as Managing Director of a global media agency. In that role, I led a team of ≈50 and managed a diverse and thriving client portfolio.
Three years ago, I chose to step away from my professional life to focus fully on family, friends, and personal fulfillment.
The time is right. As a Mom of three, I know it will not be easy, but during this professional hiatus, I am committed to dedicating my skills and experience to serving the community that has already given so much to our family.
We all aspire to see the Village of Biscayne Park reach its full potential. For each of us, this vision may take different forms. What is essential is a clear, unified direction for the Village—a guiding compass for setting strategic priorities, shaping planning and budgeting, and ensuring consistent implementation. This vision will influence how we approach legislation, support sustainable programs, organize events, and more. By maintaining this consistency, we reinforce our identity and enhance our collective impact toward shared goals.
Effective implementation depends on active collaboration across various aspects. How we structure these collaborations to build understanding, guide choices, and make decisions is essential to the value we bring as Commissioners. While we may not always agree on every issue, I am committed to fostering clarity and agility, while ensuring an environment that promotes respect and maintains a standard of decorum.
While the main role of a city commissioner is to provide leadership, oversee governance, and represent the community through legislation, the Village Manager (through staff) leads the implementation. This role is extensive and demanding, highlighting the importance of a clear, well-defined vision. I believe in creating an implementation plan that is easy to understand, accessible, and measurable will empower residents to stay informed and actively participate in shaping Village policies.
